"Rosette Mandala" Charm

1 1/8" diameter lacy rosette of silver... inspired by the Spanish wrought iron balcony of the Cabildo government building which still stands on Jackson Square... ironic that these hearts are similar to the Sankofa style hearts used by iron workers of African descent. Let us all live harmoniously as one... for me this rosette has come to symbolize world peace and a world without hunger, war or discrimination. Learning from the past to build a better future... as Sankofa symbolizes. Similar motifs are found in Chinese pottery and silks, rose windows of cathedrals, mandalas, African cloth and the wheel of life.
